Meet the Staff

Kathryn Sack

Assistant Dean for Academic Resources; Director of the Graduate Program

Kathryn Sack

As Assistant Dean, Kathy oversees three areas and programs of the College allowing her to work with students from the first year through the graduate program. These include the Academic Resources programs that provide appropriate and accessible academic support services for the campus: the Writing Center, the Math Center, and the Office of Academic Skills. She manages the Course Mentor and TEAM programs using student peers or staff to support students toward academic success. Through her work in the Dean’s Office, she regularly meets with students who have academic questions or concerns at the undergraduate through the graduate level.

Kathy also coordinates programs involving the out of classroom academic experiences of Washington College students. These include all academic internship programs, the Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars (www.twc.edu), and the National Security Scholarship Program, the Fall Family Weekend Student Academic Showcase, and related opportunities for academic engagement both on and off campus.
